Lawrence starts with an L so that makes sence
Chloe starts with the k sound and has the L right after but with another voul next to the E the L isn't effected. Like what I said with hello, it's the opeset effect. The E must be the issue here.

There will probably be a side OVA season involving the 4th volume, or wut evr 1 was skipped. And a S3 or 4 should be on it's way. Taking it's time... We hope. If Iv read correctly then they have just finished the final novel for the whole spice and wolf manga series. So the next series should have the sr8 go ahead. But read back some of the posts a bit and look at what the producers need to do befor even considering starting a S3. I posted on what they need to do so look back on me. Some of that might now be right. But he'll. It's the best response and excuse for there hold up then any 1 else can make.

I hope it dsnt end so suddenly like "the familiar of zero's" last ep, which was on a 3rd season. That's the only anime that I know that got a 3rd season and stopes on it. And it looks like there would be another season after that too.
Idk y they always hold out on the season. They have an ass load of viewers. They even had atleast 5 diffrent stations airing it in japan. They can probably atleast announce the du date that the season will start, by prodiction I

OVA would be nice, but I wouldn't put too much faith in it just yet. That would pretty awesome though, but I'd rather see another season and skip volume 4 of the novel, because I'm just going to read it anyway.
As for the names like Lawrence and Chloe, The Japanese may not have sounds for L, but they know English names, and Chloe isn't even a character as far as I'm concerned, she's not in the novel, and the novel is the original, nothing else came before it.
All of you guys really do have good points. I agree with all of you. With all of the light novels written they could easily make more seasons but if they want to or if they can is a different story. Japan is still in a crisis. All in all though, i think were all just hoping there will be a 3rd season of S&W which is quite possible. For all we could know they could be finishing the first episode for Season 3 right now and release it as a surprise. We wont ever know till something happens which hopefully will happen soon. I don't think i could wait 4 more years just to find out what happens. By the way. You can buy the first 4 books of the light novel in english in like borders or barnes and nobles currently right? i really want to read them since i cant wait any longer to find out more about those two.
Barnes and Nobles didn't have it when I went, they only had the manga.
My best suggestion, buy the novels on Amazon, if you spend atleast $25 you get free shipping, which is cheaper because you don't have to pay tax (most of the time).
Chloe. The FIRST girl u see in S&W anime? Is not in the mangas? The girl who was reaping the wheat. She had a good role in S&W I thought. Maybe she will be back in S3? There's LOTS of pix on google of holo and Chloe getting along (or standing beside each other, happy) wuts this mean?
And u said u cldnt find the novels at B&N just the manga. Wits the diffrence really?

But yeah ill hve 2 buy it. My friend bought me the 1st one 4 me but i never got around 2 it. So from ur guys conversation vol 4 really has no part in the anime right? And i rlly do hope they come out with a 3rd season. Out of all the anime and manga ive read this is by far one of my most fav series. There should be a good chance bec i hear S&W was quite popular in japan. other than the fact we may have to wait 4 more years i wouldnt rlly be tht upset. But hopefully if they do make a new season they'll make an annoucment about it soon. Or within the nxt 6 months lol XD
JullianJW, the diffrence between the light novel and the manga is that the manga is all comic base while the light novel is more in the form of a book with text and a pic every 40 pages or so. if you mean whts the story diffrence between the manga and light novel sorry lol. if so i cant help you with that sense ive only read the mangas but not the light novels. XD
