Now that DxD has reached its finale, which voice actor do you want heard in the dub when it comes out?
Here are my suggestions for some:
Rias: Brina Palencia
Issei: Joel McDonald
Asia: Tia Ballard
Akeno: Monica Rial
Koneko: Cherami Leigh
Kiba: Josh Grelle
Yuma/Raynare: Trina Nishimura
Freed: Todd Haberkorn
Riser: Jerry Jewell
Ddraig: Christopher Sabat

Lol, wow this stuff is way over my head. I know voice actors have names and we should use them, but sadly I'm still new to this stuff so I havn't learned to associate names with voices yet, though I do recognize voice actors that have done other voices in other animes, which is always fun to say oh isnt that the voice of so-and-so? But ya anyways you don't have to but if you could, would you mind saying where I might of heard them before, as in other animes where they did voice acting, it would be appreciated, espescially from noobs like me. ^_^

My possible dub cast:
Issei - Micah Solusod
*Very interesting he hasn't been cast in any ecchi series yet... Could be he purposely avoids auditioning for them or maybe just a coincidence? It's time! Every anime VA must have an ecchi show on their resume! *evil grin*
Rias - Leah Clark
*She has my approval since she has a good seductive voice from other roles I've heard, and it appears she has no problem being associated with ecchi anime unlike some female VAs *thumbs up*
Akeno - Jamie Marchi
*She also has a sexy voice, and she can definitely do sadistic well (e.g. Mikako Satsukitane) and it appears she has no problem being associated with ecchi anime unlike some female VAs *thumbs up*
Asia - Monica Rial
*I'm actually not a big fan of hers but she definitely nails the part of sweet, innocent girls and it appears she has no problem being associated with ecchi anime unlike some female VAs *thumbs up*
Kiba - Chris Patton
*I just think he'd be a good fit
Koneko - Emily Neves
*Long shot since she hasn't worked for Funimation yet (but her husband Andrew Love has so it's only a matter of time for an audition to be set up) and she often voices emotionless characters in Sentai dubs
Raynar - Kristi Kang
*She's voiced some b*tchy characters in other shows and I think she did rather well and could do well here too and it appears she has no problem being associated with ecchi anime unlike some female VAs *thumbs up*
Riser - Andrew Love
*I agree with TTK500's reason and IMO he's fantastic at voicing villains!
No Dub = No Buy
Well, obviously there is a big discussion going on over this show, (don't get me wrong, I also like the show...) I'm not the one for voice actors but when you come to think of it, the dubbed version would probably only come out once more seasons are out, or maybe could be working on soon and released before season 2 (Yes, I am pretty sure that this will be a big hit and yes, I believe that there will be more than just season 2...) Now, look at full metal alchemist, it was a very big hit and if you listen to both the Japanese and English versions, the actors are some what voice similar and very professionally done, the dubbed version came out extremely well, even with soul eater.
I get it how it's annoying to hear the actor from the Japanese version sound exactly the same as the English version but it goes better with the story. Sometimes, actors with slightly different accents and pitches brings out the mood better for the theme. Rias, for example, many things you would need in an actor for her role. You need a girl you has a beautiful voice for her character, along good sexual mood when she treats Issei, when she is mad that they make fun of her slave, when she is sad when seeing Issei trying his hardest to beat Phoenix as he is getting killed in front her. Not to mention that the actor not only has to have these criteria for her character, the actor must also know how to play herself as Rias Gremory, make it realistic and great as an actor to act out her part well.
I think it should be
Issei: Josh Grelle
Rias: Cynthia Cranz
Asia: Tia Ballard
Akeno: Jamie Marchi
Kiba: Micah Solusod
Koneko: Cherami Leigh
Yuma/Raynare: Leah Clark
Freed: Scott Freeman
Riser: Ian Sinclair
Ddraig: Christopher Sabat
I can not explain how much I can't wait for this to get dubbed (I honestly could care less what they sound like as long as there not obviously bad). but I really wanna see this series have a season 2 and possibly a season 3!:D haha. This show is a pretty big hit, or so I have heard, and I see why lol
He who has nothing to die for has nothing to live for.
AKA: "He who has no anime has nothing to live for."
I agree with Ichigo341578926b on the VA's.
I completely agree with TTK500 about Jamie Marchi. She would be perfect for Rias. She does cute and playful well such as in Chaos; Head with Seira. She also does tough extremely well like in Blassreiter as Amanda. Unfortunately, I don't recognize the other names except for Luci Christian and John Burgmeier and I don't remember their voices all that well so I can't offer an opinion as to those choices. It's up to Funimation though but who knows, maybe they'll check this thread out and agree with some of the choices.

I would love to see Greg Ayres voice Issei in Highschool DXD.
