Well Even though Consles get most of the industreis steam, handhelds have been breaking big the past couple of generations as well. I myself have always arguably played my handheld systems more often then my consles, so I thought it would be fun for people to share what Handheld games they are looking foward to next year. Let the Fun begin!
As for me I'm looking foward to....
Nintendo 3DS
Kid Icarus: Uprising- Despite the Delays involved with this Title, I am still looking foward to this one, and am hoping its as good as nearly two years of waiting have made me imagine it will be.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance-Honestly from the previews weve gotten so far, this looks like the best KH game since Kingdom Hearts II (speaking of which glad Axel & Xemnas are back!) Not to mention it'll have TWEWY charactes making cameos, and a Hunchback themed world (one of my person fav Disney movies) Yep this is gonna be a great game I can just feel it!
Luigi's Mansion 2: I loved the origional Gamecube game, and am looking foward to the sequal, although I'm kind of curious as to why they arn't doing a wii version as well, meh, oh well no big deal, still looks like it'll be a great game
Monster Hunter 3G -Admitingly I've only gotten into Monster Hunter fairly recently, but its a fun series, I've rented some of the older games and enjoyed them, and the recent 3Ds game looks like it may be the best one yet, new sub-species, and and taking advantage of the augmented reality Function, I can't wait to get my hands on this baby, deffinantly a day one pre-order for me (hope Capcom USA announces it soon.)
Tales of the Abyss 3D: Not the biggest tales fan, but deffinantly gonna get this just for the sake of supporting the franchise and convincing Bandai/Namco to bring more over.. Seriously this series needs more love in the states.
Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy: A Final Fantasy Music Game? Why thats just silly enough to be awesome!!!
PSP
Black Rock Shooter: Really Glad NISA Picked this up, I look foward to playing it, sad it'll be DD only though.
Final Fantasy Type-0: I've been waiting for years...I really REALLY wanna Play this.
Gungnir-Looks like a fun little RPG
Makai Kingdom Portable: No Offical word from NISA on a stateside Release for this yet, but they've brought over all the other Disgaea/Netherverse games so I'm not that worried, but am pretty sure when/if its announced like BRS it will be DD only.
PS Vita
although I probably won't be getting one of these at its launch I'm sure I'll get aroung to it eventually..anywho.. from this little handheld looking foward too...
Disgaea 3 Portable- OF COURSE! And hey how can I resist the zany allure of the Disgaea Franchise.
Gravity Rush:-From what I've seen looks like It'll be an itneresting Title.
Persona 4 Golden:-A fighter based on the Persona Franchise...I'm there!
Street Fighter X Tekken- I'll double dip for this crossover.
Ultimate MVC 3 Portable: Now I can kick-@$$ with ghost rider anywhere I want.
So yeah, those are the Handhelds I'm looking foward to, how about the rest of my funi forum friends, what games can you not wait to literally hold in the palm of your hands!?

Actually, the Golden is the Vita port of the original Persona 4 game, which is going to have a new character, new personas, new events, and (thank *insert deity here*) two new difficulty settings. This is the game I'm most looking forward to as well, even though I won't have a Vita for a long time, cuz with the new easier setting, maybe I can actually beat the end of Persona 4. ~_~
But yeah, Golden is the port. The fighting game you're thinking of is 'Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena' which will be on the PS3 and 360.
I"s: Reaching for a Dream
It'll be a while before I can get 3DS---but the new Paper Mario game is definitely my most anticipated game.
Closely followed by Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright of course. But I'll need to play more Layton games before then, methinks.
"Of course you realize, this means war!" -- Bugs Bunny
"Here we gooooo!" -- Mario
I don't have many games that I am crazy-hyped up for at the moment, but games that have official dates that I am looking forward to are:
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 (DS) - I've been playing and got addicted to Overclocked for the 3DS, but this one is a bit iffy for me, especially if they decide to do an enhanced port like they did for the original with Overclocked. I also have moved on from DS games too!
Tales of the Abyss (3DS) - I played the original version when my cousin let me borrow his PS2 and the game and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not as much as Symphonia (I own on Gamecube), but I still liked the game enough. I know this game isn't getting anything new from the PS2 version with the exception of the 3-D graphics during gameplay and the faster loading times, but I will support any Tales game on any platform that I own.
Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS) - I suck and am a pansy who scares easily, so I don't know how this will go. I bought RE4, played through part of it, but stopped after getting to the castle because I'm a wuss. Maybe a portable RE will scare me less, but knowing me I'll probably stop playing a few hours in. I'm buying this to support the 3DS as a whole, because I don't want Nintendo to lose when it comes to portable gaming. It is also to keep games like this or any other kind of high quality content from Nintendo, Capcom, and other gaming companies to continue bringing games to the 3DS.
I'm interested in other things like Luigi's Mansion, Kid Icarus, and Paper Mario, but I'm just not hyped on them until we get closer to their release dates, along with the fact that I recently bought a PS3 that I'm very busy with at the moment. I'm also really hoping Atlus will still release a Persona game on the 3DS like they originally announced, but only time will tell.
Well I'm looking forward to:
3DS
Resident Evil Revelations
Kid Icarus
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance
Paper Mario
Bravery Default:Flying Fairy
Tales of the Abyss
DS
Shin Megami Tensai: Devil Survivor 2
PSP
Gungnir
PSVita
--Nothing so far--
All the games I want on the Vita will be available for the PS3 also, so I don't see a reason to own a Vita at the moment.(i.e. Dragon's Crown, Street Fighter X Tekken,)
Acts of Man are better than Acts of God ~Misato Katsuragi
Animal Crossing 3DS - I really thought I had completely lost faith in the series with Animal Crossing City Folk which was really mediocre as a whole. However, with the GCN being one of my favorite - if not my favorite - games altogether, and with the fact that Wild World is a game I play really often, I have to be curious to see if the series will make a comeback. So far so good. Outdoor furniture is added, there is no more advanced accessorizing, with the ability to create different outfits altogether, the train and wishing well from the GCN version has returned. So it's very much on the right path.
Paper Mario 3DS - It's a new Paper Mario. Returning to the RPG format that was so great. Nothing more needs to be said.
Others:
Super Smash Bros. 3DS - Nothing is known, obviously.
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance - Looks like a nice game.
Luigi's Mansion 2 - Luigi's Mansion makes a return!

There are several games I'm looking forward to and will most likely buy, but has for what I'd consider my most anticipated handheld games:
Gungnir (PSP)
Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time (PSP)
Grand Knights History (PSP)
This anticipated games announcement has been brought to you by the letter "G"
DS:
Devil Survivor 2
PSP:
Growlanser IV
Gungnir
PSP Vita:
Persona 4: Golden
Disgaea 3
Game with Virtual Handheld personifications:
Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2
Nibelung Valesti! It shall be engraved upon your very soul!
Best Animes ever - xxxHolic, Tenchi Muyo, Love Hina, Fruits Basket, Negima?!

"I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you."
You know what they say about you choosing your friends? It's a lie.
If you know what it feels like to be cheated on, why they hell would you put some else through that kind of hell? Scumbags.
Kid Icarus Uprising, Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario 3DS, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for me.
