The 16th Volume of Masakazu Katsura's Zetman manga has a wraparound jacket that is stating that a TV anime has been green-lit for an April premiere.
This is a very exciting thing since I have been hoping for such a thing to happen.

AWESOME. This is even more exciting than the Persona 4 anime for me. It's about time this happens, and I just hope anime is kinder to Zetman than it's been to any of Katsura's other manga.

@vata: too soon for something like that. They will most likely wait till the stream is over and see how well or how poor it did before they decide. I hope they do though. I would love to see both Zetaman and the other show they are streaming (Accel World) get dubbed & released stateside.

Yes and no, depending exactly what it is you've heard. The Zetman anime is based on/adapted from the same-titled manga by Masakazu Katsura (who also did the series that my sig link is all about
). He was brought on board for character designs for Tiger & Bunny, and he also did a one-shot manga for the series after the fact. But that's about as far as it goes, he had no story involvement (that I'm aware of) for Tiger & Bunny.
As for Zetman itself, I need to at least go watch the first episode. Anyone know if there's any legal streaming source besides Viz's own player though? When I tried Viz's, it was HORRENDOUS. At one point, it just stopped playing, it's player screen went fuzzy, and an insanely high-pitched screech issued from my headphones.
